Since we can't do anything outdoors (have I mentioned the rain?), we headed for a different mall today. It's a cheap way to get out of the apartment and walk and still keep Anna somewhat entertained. This mall had a giant store very much like a Wal-Mart called Galassia. They sold everything from washing machines, to trees, to cat food, to every manner of fresh meat and cheese. I keep forgetting to take a picture of the cheese sections of the supermarket. If you have been to Italy and have been in the supermarkets, you will understand. However, if you have never been to Italy, as I had not been until now, you would have no idea that there could be so many cheeses available. I always saw people talking about various cheeses on the cooking shows, but as I neither cook nor eat gourmet, I figured that was for fancy people. In Italy, fancy cheese of every kind is for the regular person. I must remember to snap a photo!
Since we can't play outside or tour, and since our television has only Italian-language channels, we have resorted to watching movies on the Internet, if it works. Our existence here in Italy is very exciting, folks.
The doctor said today that Anna will continue her antibiotic and steriod therapies over the weekend, and then on Monday, they will sedate her for another CT scan. While she is out, they will remove her stitches and change her bandages. The last time they changed her bandanges, they did it in the CT room, so I have never seen the wound. I have no idea what it looks like! The previous families tell me to be prepared that it is a pretty big cut and looks very scary early on. I will try to keep that in mind if I manage to get a glimpse on Monday.
I hear from the homefront that everyone is doing fine, and that the Texas part of the family is looking forward to a Spring Break visit from my brother, David, and his family. Uncle Dave happens to be sporting an odd haircut to be sympatico with Anna. Grandmama, Amelia, and Lucy are looking forward to seeing Uncle Dave, Aunt Melinda, Kyndal and Candice.
Do Anna and her uncle look alike? Yes. They both look like their Father! "For we are His workmanship, created in His image."
Last, but not least, I will end this update with a shout-out to my mother, who calls me the Comma Queen.
Enjoy a comma today!
Amy

Rain, rain, go away! And I love comma humor!
