"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the power and the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen." Ephesians 3:20

Another rainy day in Verona

Rain, rain, and more rain!  It has rained off and on (mostly on) for the past few days, and this is expected to last through at least Monday.  Once we finished at the hospital and had our permission to leave renewed for another day, we headed for the mall, where we could at least walk around without getting wet.  Anna bought a puzzle (which she has put together three times this evening) and rode a couple of the little rides.  I will admit that allowing a child on a moving ride 10 days after brain surgery might not be the wisest mom choice, but it occupied her, and she seemed no worse for the wear.

Today, I was reflecting on what I missed at home.  Mostly, it's not things (although it would not be completely truthful to say that I don't miss my own bed and my own bath).  I am missing people -- my mother, my friends, my church family, my collegues -- but mostly, these two people:

If you see them out and about, would you give them a hug from their mama?

  1. Oh Friend, I know you are missing your sweet girls at home (including your mama). Praying for all of you, knowing it's hard for all of you. Give that sweet Anna some hugs from her cyber-auntie Joy!!! Love you guys!

  2. Praying for you guys, I am sure you are ready to wrap your arms around all your girls and have them all together home. I am so thankful that things continue to go well for Anna and we are praying for the time you have left there.
I am excited, shirts should be in the first part of next week and we will begin sending them out immediately!
