Amelia announced recently that she thought she needed a big girl bed since she is big now. She says at least 42 times a day that she is "vewwy, vewwy BIG." We did a bed-switch, and Amelia is now the proud owner of her very first big bed. We took down the rails, and she has stayed right in the middle with no problem. (Yes, I got up every hour that first night to make sure she didn't fall out of bed!) My dad put the little bed up in our attic for storage. Amelia asked why were keeping it, and my mom told her "Well, maybe someday you will have little sister." Amelia thought about it and said she would like that. That's funny, because just a few weeks ago, when I asked her if she thought she needed a brother or sister, she said "No, Mom, you have enough kids with just me." HAHA. I think I agree!!!
This was an exciting day... getting a Big Girl Bed!!! You ARE a big girl Amelia AiChun and so, so beautiful. Of course your Mama is "drop dead gorgeous"!

Amy...Did you cut your hair??? The Mommy haircut???..lol.....I almost always wear my hair long & I had to resist ALL temptation to cut my hair the first year that I had Lindsi, just so no one could call it a Momy Haircut...lol..
