"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the power and the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen." Ephesians 3:20

Lucy Juniper!

Her fun personality fits her fun name. While I love formal, traditional, old-fashioned names (Amelia Grace, for example), I knew Lucy would need something a little more spunky. When my heart was moved by the verse that said that instead of nettles and thornbushes, the juniper and the myrtle trees would grow as an everlasting sign of God's mercy, I knew Lucy would be my little juniper. I am so glad I chose Juniper instead of something more traditional. The name really suits her. She has 1,000 zany faces and a 1,000 watt smile. For some reason, even though I see her bright eyes and her enthusiastic laugh many times every day, I can rarely capture on film the depth of Lucy's zest. I loved this series of photos because it gives you a glimmer of the "real" Lucy Juniper.

  1. I like her unusual name....! She is darling!!!
As I read the verse I thought she could have been Lucy Myrtle but I like Juniper best. :)

We were there this past weekend and I thought of you three. Wish I had brought your phone number with me.
