"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the power and the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen." Ephesians 3:20

A day in Taipei

It rained here all day, so we needed some indoor activities. We went to Taipei 101, which until 2010, was the tallest building in the world. It also has the fastest elevator in the world. The views were pretty spectacular. We also ventured out to Snake Alley, but we found it a little...well, seedy....so we left pretty quickly. We did see some rather large creepy crawlies though. We finally made our way to the Carrefour for a few necessities.

Lucy does NOT like being told no, and no can send her into a tailspin like you've never seen. Both girls seem to be on the "everything must be exactly equal and fair" plan. If one is in my lap, the other wants to be there. If one gets a bite of something, the other wants a bite.

We did finally hve a few moment of sister sweetness, but never fear, it was only for a moment. Lord Jesus, help my children learn to love (and maybe even like?) one another!

  1. Happy Anniversary Amy and Amelia. You probably won't get this until tomorrow, but it is still your anniversary! Sounds like all of you are having such an adventure! Seeing so much! The sisters do need a little "getting to know each other" time. This is very normal and I know you will see the fruits of your labor. I'm praying for abundant grace and blessings during this time. We miss you guys and will continue to anticipate your return. Love you! Steve and Cyn

  2. Time, time, time. It will come. :)
You are such a wonderful Mommy and what a blessing that Amelia got to travel and has done so well. Praying for that transition to come once you are home...and it's a whole new world for Miss Lucy and for Miss Amelia as well. God has been and continues to be at work for good in it all. Thanks so much for sharing a little of your journey!
    Love,
    Holly Mac
