"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the power and the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen." Ephesians 3:20

Hair today, gone tomorrow

To "fix" the hair, I took Amelia to a pricey salon. She picked out a cute photo of how she wanted her hair. We got nowhere close to the photo and learned, in the process, that Amelia's scissor skills aren't too far from those of a licensed cosmotologist. Oh well. It's only hair. It will grow. In the meantime, the only adjectives I am using around Amelia are "very grownup!" "so fashionable" and "beautiful" - - Amelia feeling good about herself is more important than teaching asthestics, at least at this point in development. However, her little friend Karson did tell her "you really DO look like a Chinese girl with that hair!" Even Karson recognized the orphanage/refugee look.

  3. LOL! Why on earth do little girls think they must cut their hair at this age. Wendy did it too last year. It has grown back now and she wants to have it cut this summer shorter cause she gets to many tangles.

Amelia sure is growing and is so Cute!
