"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the power and the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen." Ephesians 3:20

Random January Fun

Happy New Year!

We have just been hanging out and playing a lot in unseasonably warm weather. I am also realizing that some kids are born with gentle, sweet natures...and some are not. My Chun-bug has always been more on the "stubborn" than "sweet" side of things, but lately I am just seeing more and more of her natural strong personality. Where I was a very compliant, naturally obedient, people-pleaser kind of child, The Chunster is extremely strong-willed. She really just wants things done HER way. She is spirited, determined, opinionated, and often oppositional. She is also very, very bright. All moms think this about their kids, but I will say it. I am rearing a smarty-pants. Enjoy the photos and pray for the Mama that must help mold this personality!

  1. Looks like you've been busy. Amy, I've rarely met anyone as suited to motherhood as you are. I'd say you are definately up to the challenge of Amelia. She is SMART though....=)

  3. Sweet pictures. Just remember that the personality traits that are difficult for us as moms will serve our children well when they are adults....if we survive them to see them as adults!
