Amelia's chosen costume this year: Remy from Ratatouille. Oh, yes, friends. A rat birthday party was not enough. My daughter chose a rat costume for her first Halloween in the USA. She's a pretty cute little rat, though! I did talk her into a Minnie Mouse costume (are we following the rodent theme here???) for the church Harvest Festival because I thought the full-body, furry rat suit would be too hot. It turned out to be perfect for trick-or-treating, though, because it was a cold night in West Texas. Maybe next year, she will pick something less rodential. (Is that a word?)
